Heavy & Specialty Item Removal in Bakersfield
Updated June 2026Some things are too heavy, awkward, or anchored to handle alone. Here's how we get the back-breakers out — safely, flat-priced, without wrecking your floors.
Can you remove heavy cast iron tubs or brick wood-burning stoves?
Yes — cast iron tubs, masonry stoves, and other ultra-heavy items are routine. We bring the crew size and equipment the lift needs, and protect floors and doorways on the way out.
Can you haul upright pianos, organs, or slate pool tables?
Yes — pianos, organs, and slate pool tables (broken down properly) are quoted flat from a photo so stairs and tight turns are priced in. See our piano and pool table pages.
Do you remove swing sets, rusted trampolines, and above-ground pools?
Yes — demolished, anchors dug out, metal recycled, and the footprint raked clean. Above-ground pools and the surrounding deck too.
Will you haul old wooden fences including the concrete footings?
Yes — panels, posts, and concrete footings pulled and hauled, the line raked for the new fence. Heavy footings are weighed honestly into the quote.
What is the California mattress recycling fee, and do I pay it?
California charges a recycling fee on mattresses at disposal. With us it's simply built into your flat quote — no separate line item to worry about.
Can you haul commercial tires, and is there a transport limit?
Small to moderate tire quantities yes, with a per-tire fee; large stockpiles are routed to a tire recycler. There are legal transport limits, so big volumes may take a planned run.
Do you charge extra for a 3- or 4-man lift on heavy items?
The crew size needed is built into the flat quote up front — never a surprise add-on. Heavy or stair-bound items just get the right number of hands.
Can you remove an old travel trailer or RV carcass?
Often yes — dead RVs and travel trailers usually need dismantling or a tow partner; we'll assess from photos and quote it or refer you to the right specialist.
How do you handle broken concrete with steel rebar?
Rebar-reinforced concrete is cut and hauled as a heavy load, quoted by weight. For large slabs we plan a dedicated heavy-load run to keep cost down.
Can you remove warehouse racking or industrial machinery scrap?
Yes — racking systems, workshop tools, and machinery scrap, removed carefully to protect the floor, with metal recycled. Quoted from photos or a walkthrough.

"Chris and Allen exceeded our expectations today. They communicated their expected arrival time and let us know when they were en route. They quickly got to work and although the job was bigger than anticipated they had a great attitude and worked hard to help us accomplish our goal of consolidating 2 large storage units down to 1. They took a load to be donated to Habitat for Humanity and anoth…"
