On the day, we pad the rails, protect the floors, and walk it out in one careful trip. Uprights, baby grands, full grands (legs come off), player pianos, and church organs all ride.

Can a piano be donated?

Honestly: rarely. Schools and churches stopped accepting most donated pianos years ago — tuning and moving costs exceed their value. Pristine instruments get a donation attempt first; the rest are recycled for their substantial metal content (that harp inside is real cast iron and steel, and it helps your price).
