Can pool tables be donated or sold?

Quality slate tables in good condition sometimes sell — but buyers must pay professional movers, which kills most deals. Coin-op and MDF tables have effectively no market. We attempt donation on the worthy ones; the rest are broken down, with slate recycled as aggregate and the hardwood frame disposed of properly.
